Only an hour and a half west of Sydney via the Great Western Highway, the region is
part of the wider Greater Blue Mountains conservation region. It’s a vast World Heritage
sanctuary, stretching all the way to Wollemi National Park.
It’s a mix of ancient rock formations, lush
forests and deep ravines, habitat for more than 400 native animal species, from curious wallabies to secretive dingoes and mimicking lyrebirds.
